ICE CUBE: I AM THE WEST
I AM THE WEST…is the name of my new record. After completing about 65% of my music, this is the perfect title. This s**t is cocky, no apologies, West Coast gangsta s**t. I can’t help it. That’s what I do. June seems too tight for a release, but July is very doable. We’ll see how things go. Now that I have my title, I can work on the concept of my photoshoot and artwork. I want to provide early merch before the drop date.
For 7 or 8 years now the West Coast has been trying to do music that appeals to the South and Mid-West. The words, “too West Coast” would be heard throughout the industry whenever our music was played. Even by our own DJ’s. Left coast MC’s were now trying to change their sound to cater to all the followers. We lost our way. Thank God for b-boys like Snoop, The Game & WC for keeping the West alive, but we were all guilty of over reaching. No more. At least not from me. I do it how I feel it; not how I think it should be done. Radio f**ked us up. I hate the politics at radio. I don’t know who to pay to get my s**t played. Having a hot song is not enough. Ridiculous.

Michael Irvin Supposedly Raping People Now?
LOL. He lookin real ashy right here!
Hall of Fame wide receiver, and NFL sports analyst, Michael Irvin is being accused of allegedly raping a Florida woman on July 4th 2007. She claims that they had met at a casino in Fort Lauderdale, where Irvine and some other guy got her drunk and then proceeded to have their way with her…lol…Now check this, the woman comes out of nowhere on Feb 4th 2010..damn near three years later and files a civil suit in a Florida courthouse, where she is asking for $1mil before she goes public with the accusations. I had a good laugh after hearing about this story; I’m sure Irvin has good enough lawyers to have this thing blow past. Irvin is a lot of things but I highly doubt that he’s a rapist.

Busta Givin’ The Game The “Chemo” Treatment
Bust is currently working on his 9th solo album entitled “Chemo”. According to Busta, the album will release on the day of our Independence, July 4. Busta recently gave us an explanation on his album drop date.

So this nigga Kanye is at LAX makin himself look like a bigger dick due to his seating arrangements. According to StreetGamer.net sources, Kanye and his assistant were not given access to first class seating arrangements after flying back from the Grammys. After throwin a fit and lookin like an ass, flight attendants eventually gave him what he asked for. The New York Post wrote ” Kanye West is a finicky flier. A source said the rapper threw a fit at LAX Monday night on his way back to New York from the Grammys after he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first. “He wanted to be bumped up,” says our witness. West and his aide were eventually moved to the better seats. A rep for Kanye — who garnered widespread condemnation over his onstage outburst at last year’s MTV awards as Taylor Swift accepted her award — didn’t get back to us.”
