Dante’s Inferno DLC details

A trailer bundled with the retail version of Dante’s Inferno reveals that the game will be supported by some rather substantial post launch downloadable content in the form of the Trials of St. Lucia.

Adding online co-operative play with a new playable character, the divine angel-winged St. Lucia of Syracuse is just the beginning, with the DLC pack also providing a level editor that will enable players to create their very own trials.

The Trials of St. Lucia pack may add an extra dimension to EA Visceral’s hack and slash game when it arrives for download on April 29th.

Dante’s Inferno will be available in Australia on February 4th, in Europe on February 5th with the North American release on February 9th.

Dantes Inferno Demo Review

Honestly I dont know why Viceral Games and Electronic Arts even did Dantes Inferno. The way that i see it shaping up demo vs demo Dantes Inferno plays IDENTICAL to the God of War series. This game has massive potential to be a blockbuster hit because of the awsome storyline behind it and the whole nine levels of hell and each one is like a different world plus everyone loves a main character who has that man of all men who is a slash and gore do whatever it takes type character to save whatever he believes in. But in my opinion this game is just going to be a biblical version of the much more anticipated God of War 3. I was kind of dissapointed in this demo and how close the plot is to the god of war demo. I wouldnt expect a big following of this game and i really wouldnt bet to see a second installment of this hellbound journey. (this of course is pure opinion). The “minions” who attack you are easily done away with as you wield a large sword early in the game. on the demo it doesnt allow you to upgrade or change weapons. sometimes the camera works against you because you have no control or cover system. overall it is a cool game very visually appealing smooth game play and lots and lots of blood.overall i’d say this game is worth a play

Halo:Reach- Screens Leaked

Today it seems that ebgames got a little hasty and leaked another set of screens onto the web, this time, of digital quality. Not some blurry off-screen BS.

The 11 leaked screens are actually the ones featured in Game Informer recently, you know, the issue that revealed a plethora of new information.

Perfect Dark, What Next?

Rare’s studio head, Mark Betteridge has revealed to CVG that there might be further potential for porting over more golden oldies from the company’s back catalogue following the release of Perfect Dark on XBLA.

While polish is still being added to the updated N64 FPS, Betteridge told CVG, “We know there are a lot of people looking forward to that. There’s nothing to announce yet after Perfect Dark, but we’ve got over 25 years of IP to dip into so there’s no shortage of possibilities.”

Could we see Goldeneye in the future, or maybe the return of Killer Instinct? We will keep you updated.

Perfect Dark has yet to be given a confirmed release date, but industry heads are pointing to a February launch on XBLA.

Mass Effect 2 -Less Than a Week Away

Mass Effect who? Mass Effect 2. If you have not heard of the game your well overdue. With less than a week from Bioware’s upcoming blockbuster, Mass Effect 2, I am filled with feelings of excitement and anxiety, one would think the pretty girl at school said yes or maybe. However this is not the case, I got the Great Game Jitters. It feels like November all over again, but MW2 has already come and conquered my stack of 360 games. What the future holds for ME2, we can only speculate. I am curious of just how well will it live up to the hype.  So to kill time and ease the sense of anticipation, I am dusting off my original Mass Effect for one more run. To incite the same feelings of lust within you all, here is some fresh  information. Enjoy

-The current level cap is 30. Levels 1-20 will receive 2 squad points per. From 21-30 the player will receive 1 point. That’s a total of 50 points. Plan wisely if you want to max out certain skills.

-Those who purchase the title new will receive exclusive access to the ‘The Cerberus Network,’ an in-game marketplace. Comparable to the download section in DA:O or the music stores found in Rockband and GH. The Cerberus Network will give players access to downloadable content, as well as daily messages and news on upcoming releases for the game at no additional cost. Access requires players to input a single-use unlock code that comes included with all new copies, retail and digital versions. So if you’re thinking about buying a used copy of Mass Effect 2 down-the-road, BioWare states fans will have to pay for an activation code to join “The Cerberus Network,” though pricing for a code was not revealed in the announcement.

-The first DLC pack is set for release at the game’s launch on January 26, and will include new missions, in-game items, and characters.

-One of the new characters to look forward to;

Zaeed, a “rugged and deadly gun-for-hire” will join Commander Shepard in one of the new missions. See pic below.
Look at Zaeed

-A second DLC pack, set for release “after launch” will included the Hammerhead, a new hover tank for players to take control of, along with “new missions and unique in-game items, including Cerberus Assault Armor which boost shields, health and heavy weapon ammo and the M-22 Eviscerator Shotgun.”
